INTERNATIONAL STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION

The deadline is May 15.

Earn cash awards and increase your knowledge in the field of resource management. Sponsored by the APICS Educational and Research Foundation, The Donald W. Fogarty International Student Paper Competition benefits both APICS and the academic community by;

  • increasing student awareness of the practical application of production and inventory control principles for actual organizations
  • encouraging students to explore and develop knowledge in the field of resource management
  • rewarding outstanding efforts in the study of resource management
  • increasing student awareness of APICS and the E&R Foundation
  • developing a closer working relationship between the E&R Foundation and the academic community
  • increasing awareness in the upper echelons of industry about the emphasis that APICS places on education and about the functions of the E&R Foundation

College students classified as full- or part-time, according to the guidelines of the institution in which they are enrolled are eligible to enter.

Students from Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, or Montana educational institutions submitting for NWIE Chapter contact Bill Turnquist or Mike Tracey for further information, or NWIE Chapter President, Kevin Quinn.

Cash Awards and Recognition for Winners

Winners receive cash awards and are featured on the APICS Web site and in APICS Magazine. Cash awards are presented at three levels (chapter, region and association) for the best research papers.
